Little Capitals
Our "Little Capitals" are made up of 8U hockey players that aspire to be Capitals. This program will focus on introducing families and athletes to our program, developing young athletes on and off the ice, as well as participating in 4-6 half ice tournaments throughout the year.
Designed to be a supplement to the BJHL, the Little Capitals tournaments and games will take place during "off times" allowing for our athletes to participate in both programs.
2024 - 2025 Season
- Any 2017 and 2016 birth-year athlete may tryout for our Little Capitals
- TWO Teams will be made up of 10 skaters and 1 goalie
- Our teams will practice as ice becomes available to them throughout the season
- Our teams will have access to Capitals Skills Coaches including Hammer Hockey, 614Goaltending, and Althen Hockey Development
- Estimated Cost $1,000 includes ice time, tournament fees, coaching fees.
2024 - 2025 Little Capitals
The Little Capitals program is designed to be a suplemental program to the BJHL for our young athletes interested in becoming Capitals!
Made up of two seperate development teams, the Little Capitals will get additional practice ice when available to focus on SKILL DEVELOPMENT. For additional game experience, the Little Capitals will take part in 4-6 half ice tournamnets throughout the season.
Any 2017 and 2016 birth-year player may tryout for the Little Capitals. We will strive to create two teams made up of 10 skaters and a goalie.
Tryouts will take place:
May 20th 6:00-7:30PM @ Chiller North
May 21st 6:00-7:30PM @ Chiller North
