Hello Checkers!

Coach Staib is needing your help! You have some amazing coaches on ice (Staib, King, Bickerstaff), we need someone's help OFF ice! We need a team manager for the Checkers. As team manager you would be the liaison between the Checkers and me (the 10U House Coordinator) to make sure things are running smoothly. Here are the tasks:

-Develop a sign up genius for the team for team parents to sign up to run the clock/do the scoresheet and run the penalty box at home games

-Reach out to me (Sarah Miller) if your team needs goalie coverage

-Email me (Sarah Miller) the scoresheet weekly from the game so I can input the results

-Distribute jerseys/socks to the Checkers when they come in (I would give them to you)

-Help to find volunteers from your team for the end of season pizza party

-Create a sign up genius for snack bag sign up if your team chooses to do that for games (up to each team)

This position is not labor intensive and I think would be quite rewarding. I personally cannot skate and being able to coordinate things gives me the opportunity to give back. 10U Major and Minor Families:

You will now see two teams loaded on Crossbar. You will see a "Major Team 1 or 2" or a "Minor Team 1 or 2" as well as your individual House Team that you have been assigned to.

Please rely on your Major/Minor Team 1/2 schedule until October 7 for scheduling at which point it will switch over to your house schedule.

The house teams do not all practice together until October 8. Crossbar is your most reliable source of information with regards to scheduling. (Half of our major players practiced tonight October 4 and half of them will practice Thursday October 6. Half of our minor players will practice at one time on October 6 and at another time on October 6).
